About Our Founder
Shruti Sehgal is the founder and CEO of Moonshot. An award-winning strategist with 15 years of experience, she specializes in high-impact communications and business growth strategies.
She has advised more than 80 U.S. elected officials, Fortune 500 companies, family offices, and leading firms across venture capital, private equity, and growth-stage brands in beauty, lifestyle, art, sports, and entertainment. Known as a true power adviser and multi-hyphenate, Shruti brings a rare blend of skills, networks, and instincts to every table. She built her deal-making and investment expertise while scaling a major PR firm, sharpened her eye for cultural storytelling through an editorial start at Vanity Fair and commercial modeling in her teens, and cut her teeth in politics as a speechwriter and campaign manager during President Obama’s 2011 re-election campaign.
Beyond her professional work, Shruti is a devoted Bhakti yogi, wife, and mother who divides her time between Seattle and Los Angeles.
